Alion, Embry-Riddle offer online learning courses - United Press International
Alion Science and Technology and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida announced a joint effort to teach modeling and simulation courses via online learning. Alion, a technology solutions company for the U.S. Department of Defense, and Embry-Riddle announced a partnership to offer the six-course non-credit certificate in an effort to address both military and civilian uses of modeling and simulation. "What's unique about these modeling and simulation courses is that they are being offered to technical and non-technical people, both within the Department of Defense and within industry," Sue Archer, Alion senior vice president and manager of the operational solutions group, said in a statement.
