Vol State partners with MTSU on degree program - Nashville Business Journal
Volunteer State Community College and the Division of Continuing Studies at Middle Tennessee State University have started a new bachelor's degree pipeline for working adults. It allows working adults to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in General Business Administration at Vol State and then have those classes apply toward a bachelor's degree at MTSU. "We have many working adults whose path to promotion is to earn that bachelor's degree," says Dr. John Espey, Dean of Business at Vol State. "This will allow them to start here and complete their degree at Vol State and then transfer to MTSU where they also have many flexible schedules." MTSU classes have online learning courses that make it easier for those who would have trouble commuting to Murfreesboro.
