Higher education is more accessible than what many people might think. No matter your stage in life - whether a current high school student, recent graduate or someone who is years removed from the classroom - the prospect of earning a college degree is a goal that can be realized in most cases. For those with busy schedules and other commitments such as job and family, colleges are increasingly offering classes in the evenings and through online learning so students do not have to travel to campus on a regular basis. In addition to flexible hours, Ohio University-Chillicothe is developing online learning courses through our distance learning initiative, which makes quality education available in a manner that meets the needs and lifestyles of many area residents.
