Kids Learning Language from a Distance - Associated Press
More than 2,000 students in 113 classrooms across the state are participating in the elementary Spanish distance learning program offered through ESU 5 in Beatrice. Using cameras and microphones to communicate between the locations, the lessons are taught in a room where three screens are projected on a wall. Those three squares are controlled by the teacher. Into those squares go images of the teacher and class, a board for the teacher to write on, as well as games and activities for teaching.
