A Second-Degree Coincidence - Linda Ebbing, Journal-News
Two Ross Twp. women will receive their master's degrees today from the University of Cincinnati. It's the third time they have walked together in the graduation line. Maribeth Pennekamp and Andrea Fuerst graduated from New Miami High School together and went on to receive undergraduate degrees at Miami University in 1991. About two years ago, each decided, without the other knowing their plans, to earn her master's. They both decided distance-learning would be an ideal way to advance their education.
