'With that we conclude our session today. Have a great week ahead!' And that's not some radio jockey, but your professor signing off. Although the concept isn't entirely new, online education's acceptance as a diverse and powerful tool of learning is yet to gain momentum in the country. Students, of course, have by and large heard about online degrees as an option for earning their higher education degrees, particularly in the field of management and IT. Yet, many still compare it with 'correspondence courses' or perceive it as some obscure distance learning programme wherein they would be lost and confused, and ultimately not learn anything.
