Schools going digital with information - Pamela Schehl, Mount Vernon Ohio News
In recent years, there has been a push to increase technology education for students, so schools offer computer classes, allow online learning and work to increase the use of technology in the classrooms. Teachers and parents also have the opportunity to “go digital” when it comes to recording, accessing and sharing information about student progress. Most of the high schools and middle schools in the area have been successfully using an electronic grade reporting system for some time. Mount Vernon High School principal Kathy Kasler said the electronic gradebook system is “an excellent communication tool for multiple people — teachers, parents, administrators and counselors.”
