Regents approve online master's degree programs - Melanie Brandert, Argus Leader
The state Board of Regents approved master's degrees in engineering, industrial management and math to be available online this fall. Regents permitted South Dakota State University to start planning for a new undergraduate major in biotechnology. This degree would prepare students for careers associated with biofuels, agricultural, biological, veterinary, medical and health science technologies. Once plans are finished, SDSU must return to the board for final approval of the program, which probably would be available next fall.
