Course aims to master water crisis - ABC Queensland
The Central Queensland University (CQU) says it has launched a new masters course designed to help tackle Australia's water crisis. The degree will educate future water resource managers and can be completed largely through online learning. Professor Bob Miles from CQU says the subject matter is of special significance because of ongoing drought conditions in Australia. "This is very much targeted at professionals that are already operating in the water area, so it does cover the full spectrum, but it's very much about providing novel, leading edge understanding about how to manage water resources in today's changing environment," he said.
