Web does wonders for CSU satellite - Michelle Machado, the Record
CSU Stanislaus-Stockton Center enrollment is up sharply, but it's possible many of the students behind the increase will rarely step on campus.University officials attributed most of the enrollment increase to strong demand for expanded online classes in teacher education and business administration.Development of two- and three-year course plans and opportunities for graduate studies also have boosted enrollment at the University Park campus, they said.The surge in students may indicate that the 10-year-old satellite campus, which has struggled with flat and sometimes falling enrollment, has found its identity.
