UC Irvine Launches Free Online Financial Planning Course
University of California, Irvine is proud to announce the achievement of another milestone in the advancement of the Open Educational Resources (OER) movement announcing the offering of a new course, "The Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning," designed to provide comprehensive online financial planning information to self learners and students worldwide. Made possible by a generous grant from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board), this free online course incorporates the UC Irvine Distance Learning Center's proprietary instructional design format, and will be made available at no cost to the public, worldwide, at www.ocw.uci.edu.
