Minnesota Senate Committee Says No to Online Driver's Ed Classes - Associated Press
Online learning is a hot trend in education. But a state Senate committee has decided that online driver's education is one step too far. By one vote, the Senate Transportation Committee shelved a bill that would have allowed online driving schools to offer classes to Minnesota students. Driving students still would have been required to complete six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction to get their license, but the required classroom learning would have been online and self-directed for those who chose it.
