E-learning courses on journalism ethics open for registration
To identify, understand and practice ethical decision-making are the goals of an online course offered free of charge to journalists by the News University portal. The course “Introduction to Ethical Decision-Making” uses different tools, guidelines and resources to help journalist improve ethical decision-making skills. Classes are in English, can be taken at any time and last a total of three hours. To enroll participants must complete the registration form on the News University Web site. The module is led by Bob Steele, Nelson Poynter Scholar for the Journalism Values and Senior Ethics Faculty at The Poynter Institute, and Al Tompkins, broadcast and online group leader at The Poynter Institute.
