UNCA offers distance learning courses - Asheville Times Online
UNC Asheville will host two online learning and distance learning courses designed for lateral entry teachers beginning in January. The three-credit hour courses, "Methods and Materials of Teaching in the 6-12 Classroom for Lateral Entry Teachers" and "Educational Psychology for Lateral Entry Teachers," will be offered via teleconference and online via the Internet. Teleconference locations will be on the campuses of UNC Asheville, Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock, McDowell Technical Community College in Marion and Murphy High School's Cyber Campus.
