Taking learning to a whole new level - Genevieve Marshall, The Morning Call
Students in Creed Hyatt's introduction to philosophy class this semester will be learning about literature at the same time, thanks to what Lehigh Carbon Community College says could be the most technologically advanced classroom in the region. The college's so-called Super Classroom — formerly two classrooms in the administration building on the Schnecksville campus — was debuted to faculty and staff Monday. It features three 61-inch plasma TVs that would inspire envy in any Super Bowl viewer. The high-definition screens are linked to two dozen wireless laptop computers that sit in their own garages on tables that seat four students, designed for optimal group interaction.
