BCS signs agreement with Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education - Public Technology (UK)
The British Computer Society (BCS) and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) have signed an agreement to allow them to work more closely in the future to the benefit of both parties. BCS CEO David Clarke and Peter Williams of QAA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.... David Clarke explains: "This agreement will enable a strategic alliance to ensure the standards of higher education relating to computing and IT related subjects are regularly reviewed and maintained. This will play a vital role in ensuring that the UK remains foremost in teaching and delivering relevant skills to its burgeoning global student market."
