$260K grant intended to improve education technology - Washington Business Journal
An assistant professor at the University at Albany, N.Y., has won a $260,000 award from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation to study ways to increase the use of "blended" learning. Blended learning is a combination of traditional classroom and online instruction. The award is going to Peter Shea, an assistant professor in UAlbany's Department of Educational Theory and Practice.
