Soldier gets college ring as graduation gift - GREG RUSSELL, Associated Press
Army Sgt. 1st Class Will Elias Ristom finished college while he fought in Iraq. But he didn't expect the graduation gift he got — a gold class ring compliments of an Indianapolis company. Ristom joined the Army in February 1987 and saw plenty of the world. Last June, he completed his bachelor's degree plan from Baghdad, after finishing classes through the University of Kentucky's distance learning program.
