Program lets truckers study on the road - JONATHAN DREW, West Fargo Pioneer
Seventy-hour weeks spent crisscrossing the country gave truck driver Leonard Croghan little time to complete the college degree he started years ago. Then came InCab University. The semester-old correspondence course is the first distance-learning program aimed at truckers, according to an industry expert. It lets them hit the books in their cab and file their assignments over WiFi connections at truck stops. InCab University director Jon Ricketts said the program expects to have 200 students for its spring semester.
