UW Outreach School Awards Research Grants
The University of Wyoming Outreach School has awarded grants for two research projects examining online learning and instructional technology. Doris Bollinger, assistant professor in the Department of Adult Learning and Technology, was awarded a competitive grant for her research project titled "An Examination of Trends in Faculty Utilization of Course Management Tools in an Online Environment." The examination will include how tools in online teaching have changed over time and how these changes have influenced student behavior in the online environment. Bruce Cameron, associate professor in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCSC), and co-principal investigators Kyle L. Kostelecky and Kari Morgan, both FCSC assistant professors, and Karen C. Williams, department head and professor, will examine student perceptions of group dynamics in their project titled "Group Projects: Student Perceptions of the Process and Implications for Distance Courses."
