University of Wyoming Outreach School Offers Grants Program for Distance Learning
A competitive grants program offered through the Outreach School will enable University of Wyoming faculty and staff to support distance education. The grants program has $10,000 available and individual awards will not exceed $2,500, says Scott Seville, associate dean of the UW Outreach School and associate professor of zoology and physiology at the UW/Casper College Center. The program is open to all UW faculty and staff, and also Wyoming community college personnel pursuing research or inquiry-based projects focused on distance education. The research enables the Outreach School to better support the university's mission to serve the state, Seville says.
