Free online instruction for hospitalized kids - Dennis Pierce, eSchool News
At the Advancing Online Learning Conference hosted by the nonprofit Virtual High School (VHS), VHS announced that it is donating seats for its online courses to three children's hospitals as part of a pilot program to ensure that students receiving medical care don't fall behind in their studies. VHS aims to expand the program to other hospitals around the nation beginning next year.
