College plugs in to online education - TERRY GANEY, Columbia Tribune
The number of courses being delivered to students through the Columbia College online learning program now exceeds the number of students taking courses through the traditional classroom method. That’s the assessment from President Gerald Brouder and Gary Massey, associate dean and director of the online campus. "The way higher education is being delivered and received is changing enormously as technology advances more and more," Brouder said. "Interactive blackboards, online learning. One major institution is experimenting with courses on the iPod. Where it’s headed, who knows?"
