Technology transforms traditional education - Ellen Howerton, Courier
Russellville High School (RHS) is introducing a Distance Learning program this fall. The program will combine technology and education in a process used to provide instruction when the student and instructor are not physically present at the same time or place. "We are excited about the program," said Margaret Robinson, assistant principal and Distance Learning program coordinator. "It will give all students equal access to educational curriculum." Distance Learning provides a positive way of lessening the problem of teacher availability in Arkansas while providing quality educational opportunities to students anywhere in the state.
