Regional centre to assist Vietnam in distance education - VietNamNet Bridge
The Regional Open Learning Centre under the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation (SEAMOLEC) is willing to help Vietnam with professional knowledge, consultancy and personnel training to develop its distance education system. During talks with a Vietnam News Agency reporter on the sidelines of a seminar on open and distance education in Hanoi on Sept. 14-15, SEAMOLEC Director Paulina Pannen also revealed that since 2003, the centre has implemented many programmes to assist the Ha Noi Open University - a SEAMOLEC member with much experience of open and distance education in Vietnam.
