Not Your Father's E-learning - Processor
E-learning is changing. What used to be a dry exercise--amounting, more or less, to lots of on-screen reading--is now an engaging way to learn, and one that's becoming the preferred method of corporate training. In part it's because old-school training is costly.... In contrast, e-learning is cheap and convenient. An online course, seminar, or meeting can be used and reused hundreds of times, meaning employees can learn when and where they want. And you don't have to break the bank on software: Even high-end tools can be purchased for less than $1,000. In fact, open-source options such as Moodle can even be hosted with ASPs to further trim costs.
