New wave of college instruction: ASU adopts podcasting - AZ Central
Arizona State University is riding the crest of what could be the new wave of college instruction: podcasting. This year, ASU, Temple University and University of Massachusetts-Lowell were the first universities nationwide to podcast lectures campuswide. How it works: This is another way for students to use their iPod for work and play. Students can download podcast lectures and complement that with existing classroom playback technology called Apresso Classroom, a tool for supplementing in-class learning. Students can download and play back any lecture anywhere on campus and listen in on what the professor had to say on any given day.
