Enrollment at LCCC up 50 percent since 2000 - BETH STALLINGS, Morning Journal
Lorain County Community College enrollment has boomed over the last six years by nearly 50 percent, giving the college 10,659 students, the most it has had in its history, according to LCCC Vice President Marcia Ballinger.... She cited the college's learning opportunities and co-ops accessibility to area residents and inexpensive tuition as attractions. She added that 25 percent of enrolled students take at least one distance learning class taught via the Internet.
