Distance learners are like regular students, says UP study - Alexander Villafania, INQ7.net
There is very little difference in the quality of learning received by distance education students and regular students, according to a study commissioned by the University of the Philippines Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (UP-OVCAA). The study, conducted by the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), covered the 2005 graduates of the Master in Public Health (MPH) and Master in Hospital Administration (MHA), both delivered as on-campus courses in UP Manila and also as distance education subjects by the UPOU.
