Traditional textbooks’ future is debated locally, statewide - Daniel Perry, Monitor
Computers that once took up a whole room can now fit in a child’s hand. iPods have taken the place of boom boxes. State legislators and education advocates are looking to do the same thing to textbooks. House Bill 1, which passed in the special session earlier this year, calls for reforming how the State Board of Education deals with textbooks.
