VolState boosts on-line offerings - ANN PAINE, Tennessean
Online classes at Volunteer State Community College will be up 10 percent this fall, over last year, an official has announced. A total of 60 classes, including the newly added Legal Aspects of Emergency Services and Elementary Algebra, will be on line. The interest is booming in online learning, Skip Sparkman Director of Distance Learning said in a statement released by the college. “At this point last year we had 312 enrollments. Just last week we already had 552 online enrollments.”
