US Promises to Revitalise Nigerian Education Sector - Funmi Peter-Omale, This Day (Lagos)
The United States government has assured the Nigerian government and educational institutions, of its willingness to collaborate with government to revitalise the education sector. Senior Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Embassy, Ms. Claudia Anyanso, disclosed this yesterday while receiving a visiting delegation of scholars from University of Georgia, Africa Council Faculty Development.... Leader of the group, Professor Olufunke Fontenot, said the objective of the visit was to identify some universities in Nigeria and collaborate with them, especially on Open Distance Learning.
