TEACHING WITH TECHNOLOGY - Patricia Thangaraj, Barbados Advocate
Teachers must embrace technology and utilise it in their teaching in the classroom of today's students, who are commonly referred to as the net generation. This is the advice coming from Cobin Hinds, Public Relations Officer, Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT), who said that the computer has replaced the phone as the most widely used tool among children who now know to master a keyboard and mouse before they can recite the alphabet.
