Powering up - Mary Pickels, Pittsburgh Tribune Review
When Marie Sonnet and Dr. Patricia Sheahan, respective principals at Queen of Angels Catholic School in North Huntingdon Township and Mother of Sorrows School in Murrysville, realized some of their students were ready for advanced l earning, they turned to a growing trend -- cyber education. It's an option both plan to continue offering, and anticipate expanding. Though slow to catch on in the region, the blending of brick and mortar schools with online learning is a growing educational trend, both believe.
