Webcasts alter learning dynamics - Jennifer Miller, Whistler Question
The power of technology for learning and creating connections between people in separate locations was centre stage at a groundbreaking education conference in five communities across the province last week. Teachers, principals, superintendents and parents across the province gathered — virtually as one big group – for professional development and to showcase the ways technology can be used in the classroom to facilitate learning. During discussions by a panel of speakers that closed the two-day conference, provincial experts touched on the importance of technology in fostering 21st century learning for 21st century learners.
