Podcast Lectures Promote Laziness - MIKE NORYS, Poly Post
Thanks to Apple—and their never-ending pursuit for world domination—I have been given another reason to not attend my lecture. Recently, UC Berkeley and Stanford professors have been offering some of their lectures as podcasts via iTunes. While it’s not entirely wrong to assume that every college student in America owns an iPod or runs their music through iTunes, some in fact do not. This is unfair to this small, but duly noted group. Even though they could just download iTunes and play it from their computer, they are losing the convenience that a podcasted lecture is supposed to provide.
