More Duke Profs Using iPods In Class - NBC 17 Raleigh
Since Duke University began offering free iPods to incoming freshmen three years ago, more faculty are incorporating such technology into their classes. Duke officials are hosting an instructional technology showcase at the Bryan Center on Thursday to give faculty ideas on using audio and video technology for student work, as well as the pros and cons of recording lectures. "This technology allows us to extend learning to a broader set of students and allows learning to happen in more than one place," said Julian Lombardi, a university technology support specialist.
