South Carolina Lawmakers consider virtual schools bill - Associated Press
Going to school could mean just walking to your computer under a bill being discussed at the State House on Tuesday. A House education subcommittee is considering legislation to allow virtual schools. The state already allows schools to offer certain classes in computer labs through distance learning, but a bill introduced last year by Easley lawmaker Rex Rice would let kids stay at home and take all their classes on a computer.
