Variety of programs ensures Sailors have time, flexibility to pursue college degrees - Will Tonacchio, Periscope
The Navy College Learning Center and Navy College Online have many resources for getting users on the path to a degree. Two resources students are becoming more familiar with are College Level Exam Program and Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support subject tests. Both testing services, which are free to service members, offer students a way to test out of a course and earn college credit without spending money for classes. In addition, NCLC offers refresher courses in language arts, math, and reading, that could be useful before taking a CLEP or DANTES test.
