Online Classes: For many, it's the way to go - Fallon Star Press
The growth of web-based instruction at colleges throughout the country has been incredible. This is also true for Western Nevada Community College, where availability of online classes as well as the number of students enrolling in them, increase each semester. WNCC began offering web-based courses in the late 1990's to augment its distance learning program that already included interactive video technology. Online classes have brought a new dimension to the college. Calling its growth "amazing" is an understatement.
