Technology 'vital' for education reform - National Grid for Learning
Ministers of Education from 60 countries attended this year's BETT conference, a major technology show for education, at Olympia, London. Ruth Kelly, Secretary of State for Education and Skills, opened the event, stressing the message that technology was ''vital for a continued programme of reform”. She congratulated the first 20 schools that would be receiving the ICT Mark and thanked the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (Becta) and partners for all the work in driving up standards for information and communications technology in education.
