Online education to be discussed today - Lewis-Clark State College
Education technologists from around the state of Idaho are on the Lewis-Clark State College campus today to discuss options in online education. Like LCSC, ISU uses the WebCT Learning Management System (LMS) to host most of its online course offerings. Advances in that software coupled with its merger with Blackboard, the nations other leading LMS, prompted David Taylor, LCSC’s Associate Director for Media Services, to expand that training session to include meetings on the impact of the merger and the options and opportunities it presents to the state’s four-year institutions of higher education.
