Elearning: It's time has come - Mike Butcher, Net Imperative
The signs are there that 2006 will be a fascinating year for elearning. In late December no less an organisation than the BBC announced that it had selected an agency (Cimex) to develop content for the broadcaster’s new online learning service for children, "BBC Jam".Aimed at 5-15 year olds, the new broadband service will encourage children to explore, learn and create and will complement and reinforce classroom activity.One of the main areas it will focus on is Physical Education and Science for blind users - something of a new area for elearning.
