Distance-learning tools are a necessity - Sioux Falls Argus Leader
Yes, as Harvey Jewett says, it just makes sense. A new report to the state Board of Regents indicates that distance learning is exploding. The number of students taking classes through the Internet or other forms of distance learning grew 18 percent from the 2003-04 school year to last school year. And the number of credit hours offered increased 36 percent.
