Tech makes learning a lifetime pursuit - Liz Norman, Michigan Tech Univ. Lode
Michigan Tech is helping encourage workers return to school to complete their college education. MTU is one of more than 50 Michigan colleges and universities participating in Michigan’s new “Return to Learn” program. The program is another step in Governor Jennifer Granholm’s efforts to double the number of college graduates in the state. Michigan is currently above the national average for the percentage of adults having some college credit, but no degree.
