e-Learning could be used to expand workplace learning says LSDA research - Public Technology
e-Learning could be a key tool in drive to address the alarming numbers of adults with poor education achievements, together with the need to expand workplace learning - central planks of the government’s education and skills strategy. New research, has been commissioned to identify the ”drivers” and “facilitators” that motivate both employers and employees to get involved in education and training in the workplace. The research was carried out on behalf of LSDA by the Institute for Employment Studies and funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC). There is no single factor that acts as an obstacle to workplace learning, the research concludes. But there are a number of barriers that, when combined, are significant.
