High-tech history moves into the 21st century - National Grid for Learning
An online forum is giving history students the chance to meet people who have lived through the periods they are researching. The Guardian reports on the forum, which features a history lesson that can offer access to a Red Army colonel, peace activists, Vietnam veterans or those living in eastern Europe before the fall of communism. Such a colourful array of human resources - and many others - are available at the International Education Forum, designed for teachers to share ideas and best practice in any subject, and to break down barriers between countries.
