National e-learning award hit - eGov Monitor
Local authority training officers in Surrey, including Spelthorne Borough Council, Surrey County Council and Surrey e-Partnership have recently won the award for the best e-learning production on a low budget in the first ever, national e-learning awards. A CD-rom, taking the learner’s perspective, includes tutorials and quizzes in a serious yet entertaining style to make learning easy. Delivering this on CD allows new staff to learn at their own pace or when convenient. The E-Learning Network (ELN), the independent professional association for e-learning users and developers, selected the finalists.
