Katrina-displaced students keep up online - UPI
College students from New Orleans are scattered across the United States and many have turned to online learning to keep up. Teairra Turner, who had been studying nursing at William Carey College in New Orleans, is taking anatomy and physiology courses offered by a community college in Colorado and nutrition offered by a college in Missouri. "I have to count it as a blessing that I get to take these classes and I'm not just sitting out for a semester," she told the Denver Post.
