Extension School Extended - Amelia Atlas, Harvard Independent
Over the past two years, as the curricular review has started then slowed, produced countless debates and left countless professors disgruntled, one position has remained relatively stable: in the age of the Internet and daily revolutions in communication technology, our education should be preparing us to be global citizens. This emphasis on Harvard's place in the international community has similarly proved a consistent theme in the plans for Allston, with the potential expansion of the student body to accommodate a greater popular of international students. Yet while the Allston project remains on the distant horizon and the curricular review progresses haltingly, some subtle strides have been made toward this global ideal beyond the confines of the College.
